| Boro ? on 17:16 - Nov 18 with 1138 views | majorraglan | Let’s be honest, unless you are a Swansea City fan why would you choose Swansea over Teeside? Boro are in my opinion a bigger club, they have more money, have a good Chairman, they’re in second place atm and pushing for promotion. I think Boro are a better proposition for a manager looking to make his mark than the Swans. | | | |

No arguments from me on that. The pressure will be greater though at Boro, they’ll expect to be top 6 at least this year.

Ah maybe. How long does that usually take?
| Boro ? on 17:16 - Nov 19 with 532 views | howenjack | It was on Sky Sports earlier that he was the new Boro manager subject to a work permit. 250 000 euro comp to Hammerby . Perhaps work permits for England take far longer than Welsh ones maybe 6 months longer | | | |

Agree with all that but anyone who has ever been to Middlesbrough would surely not be in a hurry to go back. Maybe that’s why meetings took place in London. Rough, rough, rough to put it mildly

Few on here seem to have been to North York Moors, Saltburn or Staithrs All a stones throw from post industrial Middlesbrough Hell , Tees valley itself The Gower beaches are often mentioned but not sure if the grittier parts of post industrial Swansea would attract a Swedish coach and his family Most grim cities on this country are often surrounded by beauty countryside , like Bradford , Hull Burnley etc
