We are not as good, nor as bad! 22:23 - Feb 21 with 1489 viewssilky

As we think we are as a club this season. And do you know what! That's alright in my book.

That's hopefully an improvement from the last couple of years.

We've obviously spent a lot for what only maybe a marginal gain from last season but it looks brighter than it has been for a long time.

No imploding please QPR!

Poll: Do you think this current QPR team has got what is takes to go up this year?

Does mediocrity tend to 'implode'?

Poll: A little over halfway through the season, where do you see us finishing?

We are a typical Championship club.

One thing we've done well this season is not let bad runs fester, we seem to pull out a win and not let runs without a win last too long.

Still on course for a good season which is probably why there has been so much frustration recently at throwing away a few games.

We are a half decent Championship Club and we tend to fit the mould of an archetypal club at this level.

Who we win and lose to, follows no logic. We have flashing moments when we are superb, but in general we are almost bang average fodder from the Championship.

We get any number of injuries and our players can be brilliant and / or awful often within the same game...

Would we have a 'bang average' injury list?

I saw the vicar having a fag outside the church earlier. “An admirable result, Colin my son” he said.
“Yes, but hast thou not left thy wistful flock inside the church ?” i replied sarcastically.

Generally, I tend towards 'not as bad as we fear / not as good as we'd hoped' when it comes to the R's. This season, however, I think we've tracked a little higher than most people expected.

I definitely didn't think we'd be on 47 points with 13 to play: points-wise, at least, we're better off than I thought we'd be. That should be balanced against how fcking angry I was after that Blackburn game: We are foong well overall and then toss away games like that.

So, basically, not as good as I'd hoped in some performances, not as bad as I'd feared in points. All very QPR.

'What do we want? We don't know! When do we want it? Now!'

I believe so.

My Pompey friend has highlighted that they seem to have had many more than ourselves and constantly throughout the season.

Everyone gets injured, it seems...
