Our flight to Gran Canaria was re directed to Tenerife about 30 yrs ago and we got transferred over to GC in this little plane with propellers it was maybe a 6 or 8 seater we could see everything the pilot was doing and the flight was finger gripping especially coming over the mountains and turning and dropping down, never been so glad to get off that plane, I needed an urgent drink after that experience  |  | | |

So many accidents in these type of aircraft.
Some will recall a helicopter collision in Australia two and a half years ago. They were very close relativos and friends. I think OHL knew them or where their shop was.
Never risk any small aircraft, there’s too much history with qualified pilots who can’t fly certain hours or daylight / darkness with limited experience. Just say NO folks. |
An old adage was get on an aircraft with two engines , one fails and the other kicks in .
A rubber band wind up engine on a dodgy aircraft , no chance unless proven otherwise .

Did a number of static line jumps from a Cessna 125 many years ago ,sitting by the open door waiting for the tap on the shoulder which became a bit of a slap tbh . | |
