The pub will be inspired by "traditional drinking establishments of India", i've been and it's safe to say i didn't see any but i'm willing to be proved wrong.

I was in there that day as well.
The news broke over by the corner of the bar where the food pass used to be and made it's way round the bar like a load of dominoes tumbling fast.
I had something in my eye for a while and then slumped on the leather sofas near the fireplace / khazi's as the enormity washed over me and the stress of that couple of weeks left me.
Probably the best day ever following the club. |

Should start a topic on appalling service, there is a pub in Uxbridge called The Millers Tap and for some reason they serve cocktails, the service is mind numbingly slow, anyway i popped in there a few years back about noonish and the only other person in there was the barmaid and i thought (madly as it would transpire) i'd get served immediately and just as i got the words "morning, can i have a pint of ........" she picked up a mop & bucket and went outside. |

You described that perfectly - I was in the que for the bar and my mates and kids were outside then we heard a small cheer and every table one by one started celebrating. Definitely a domino effect.
Within a couple of minutes the place was going bonkers which spread out to all those outside.
What a fantastic moment that was - Pure and utter relief and joy!!!
