I remember Leeds fans saying, when we beat them in the play-off final. We'll change places with you next year. I feel the same way about Boro. I'm looking forward to replacing them after they've had their one awful season in the Premier League. They are certainly coming straight back down again. We have a better chance of winning the Championship next season with Tonda in charge for the whole season than we did this season, when we started with Will Still.

That would not be good for us next season. Hull will pose less of a threat to our chances of winning the Championship than Boro will.

I disagree, don't think it matters anyhow. People just see Saints as cheats now and we are, so what does it matter? Rather Hull go up and not Boro for sure.

Tonda is bemused by it. Watching your opponents' training sessions before you play them is normal in other countries. It's just considered an integral part of meticulous planning. I believe him when he says he didn't even know it was against the rules in the Championship.
It's only Steve Gibson's media campaign and having the Boro Chief Executive on the EFL governing board that's blown it up out of all proportions. Let's face it, if the punishment had been commensurate like the 4 point deduction and a fine, nobody would have thought too much of it.

Why did William Salt run away?
If Tonda genuinely didn’t know, others would have and should have told him. Salt clearly knew.
But either way why weren’t we out there trying to downplay it while Gibson was rabble-rousing?
