It's human to make mistakes - that's what we were put on this earth to do - but we're now about to find out what sort of man our manager is. He has a potential job offer coming from BMB - will he cut and run, or will he stand up, attempt to put things right and try to bring people together? This is a real test of leadership and I am hoping that in future years we'll look back and say "this was a total fu*k-up, but some good came out of it". He's definitely let the fans and the players down, but I hate Blame Culture so let's support the guy and see what he's capable of now (assuming he stays). He's young and ambitious: I can forgive the mistake, but I'll be doubly annoyed if he ups sticks and heads somewhere else. I hope in future years we'll contrast his behaviour with someone who clearly DOESN'T accept responsibility for his own failures (Kim Hellberg of Middlesborough, who got 19 points from 15 games before trying to blame it all on So'ton). Hellberg is a failure and a cry baby. He'll be found out soon enough.
I've never liked Middlesbrough, grubby, polluted sh1thole of a place with a football club they deserve.

He won't have a say in this anyway. SR will most likely get rid of him as he has already owned up about doing what he did and therefore his position is untenable. We are cheats because of him, got caught because of him, so stop defending the guy.
No real Saints fan wants him after what he has pulled here, he has single-handedly taken everything away from us by ordering someone to go spy on a load of teams and don't give me rubbish he didn't know the rules, of course he did!
Our reputation is in tatters and we the fans get the full brunt of it because of his absolute stupidity, there is no denying that.

Firstly, who's BMB? Or have I missed something below ...... Assuming that is a German club or something and he does go there, as you can say, he can do one. But should he stay anyway? Really difficult one that and also if he does, how will that be perceived by the outside footballing world? I'm still undecided on that despite initial reaction saying he should go
But as far as something good has to come out of this debacle, it seems the club within their statement are at least offering to assist the EFL by in effect seeking clarity on the rule breaking going forward (not that does us much good now) |  |

Thinking his position is untenable is not the same as wanting him sacked.
He’s the best coach we’ve had for years.
He probably will jump before he’s pushed but that’s nobody’s call apart from the board.
He’ll get a job despite all this.
