Obviously "still work in progress", but on first inspection it appeared to be a hit with fans. Encouraging match day trade will be a staple source of income.
Yes, the kiosks in ground were closed today but the new kitchen was doing a roaring trade. The pizza's looked very enticing.
The VERY big screen will no doubt be popular.
Be interesting to see it fully finished, and Dale Bar too. Surely attractive venues to be for functions, corporate do's etc etc.
Good to see Lees' Stout still at £4, but it wasn't to see hand pumped ale pushed up to £4.80. A bit of an unfair disparity given the Stout has a higher %ABV. Something to look at.
The tightly packed seating beyond the bar seemed to impede access for disabled supporters.
Nothing that can't be fixed and a brilliant effort by the club to move forwards. |  |

I think they've done a fantastic job with the refurb. The screen looks great, the food we had was good and well organised with the buzzers telling you when you're order was ready so no hanging around waiting. The table layout does need tweaking - it was quite difficult to get to and from our table at times. I'm sure that will work itself out over time. Well done to the club for investing and getting it right. |  | | |

I was impressed with it too. The screens particularly. If they can be used in tandem (there are three large screens next to each other, showing separate footage) it will make for a great viewing experience whenever matches are streamed. |  |

Its a fine balance between pricing to drive volume, and pricing to create the margin needed to sustain the place. My local is now charging £6.50 a pint for hand pulled ales. Surely £5 a pint is reasonable for a sporting venue? (Puts tin hat on.) | | | |
