It was frustrating more than anything.
Passing was poor and sloppy and we looked complacent. Watford clearly decided to rough us up and frankly it worked.
Downes was good but he can be infuriating as his first thought is often backwards even when he has time to turn and look forward, but that's modern football I guess.
As was the coach giving BBD a full PowerPoint when he was coming on in the last minute. Wtf is that about.
But it was more frustration than anything. Azaz made a big difference and there were flashes of our slick passing game that showed how good we can be.

I too was taken in by Solak telling us we would have an exciting team, and players / manager saying they were together more than ever. Just shows you how much lying goes on. Now we hear of players leaving, a terrible performance yesterday. And in reality, those players who.put in so.much effort to get to.the playoff final last season, are probably more p!ssed off than they admit. | |

All that was really missing from the first half was a decent number 10. Dobbin is supposed to be a good number 10, Scienza isn't, so why the switch. Our extremely slow build up and full back pushing on, meant left us so open to counter attacks on the flanks. Watford had the pace to exploit the gaps we left. But it still took two huge errors to lose the game. We will be far better at full strength, if we retain our best! | | | |
