How did he look defensively? In the highlights there were two occasions first half where to my eyes it looked like he gave the Blackburn winger a lot of space to get crosses in, one of which lead to the goal. |
I was actually talking about Lamptey who only came on in the second half. Cirkin looked pretty good although I didn’t think he looked fully fit. I didn’t really notice the mistakes although other people have mentioned it too. |  | | |

Cirkin was substituted at half time and Blackburn scored in the 49th minute so I don't think you can blame him for the goal.
Positionally, Cirkin looked fine to me and he was just beaten by a very good winger a couple of times. |  |
