Yes I’m a bit confused about why it’s considered a bad thing to go out on loan. Harry Kane went out on loan…Les Ferdinand went out on loan, Kyle Walker seemed to do pretty well after his loan spell with us, as did Andros Townsend. It’s just a chance to play more regularly than he’d get at QPR, it’s not a poor reflection on his abilities or potential.
You’ve picked 4 good loan examples there, but for each one there are hundreds/thousands that have been Far less successful. For us and for others.
I’m not against loans. But we should make sure we have sufficient cover before we lose him for a season (or t’il Jan). No point in him being shipped out long term if we only have a ‘nearly’ fit Kamara. Yes, Edwards ‘Can’ play there, but he’s a CB first & foremost.
With our injury record last few seasons, I’d keep him in Our squad for the foreseeable, especially as he can cover 2, 3 or 4 roles. There’s no urgent rush to loan him out. Maybe deadline day, maybe January ? I’d focus on getting the aged 18-20 Dev Squad players out first.

Morgan needs to improve his passing accuracy. I like that he is positive, rather than turning backwards as our midfielders have been guilty of, but when you watch him play, he does seem to give the ball away an awful lot.
