Pity there couldn't be a system where season ticket holders who can't attend that they could sell seat back to the club at a nominal price.
Surely in this age of high tech something could be tried on these lines.
There are regular empty seats around me owned by season ticket holders - particularly in evening matches.

It seems people have to go through hoops
Why no ticket sales on the day
I’m told the emailed ticket has to be printed out
I m away for the week before the Burnley game but told ticket will be sent 72 hrs before
