We were very cool at point but they have now become to believe they’re hype They won’t make premier league They won’t build a 32000 stadium either and certainly not fill it Support of Merseyside and Manchester clubs is generations deep
I know that our new centre halve partnership have played well in the last 2 games but imo i think they could be targeted by wrecsam primarily with Moore.
We could bring in seelt in to be moores shadow or if cabango is fit he could start and try and imitate the job he did on moore last season.
It would be a shame to break up such a good partnership but ateotd we are facing a different sort of attacking threat and possibly should adjust accordingly.

Nah, I'm liking the team we put on the field to start against Watford. The Lissah-Welsh tandem is looking really strong. Eustaquio is special and slots in well with Stamenic. If Matos wants to rotate, then maybe Widell starts with Just coming in as a sub. The competition between Eom and Yeo is only going to make each of them better.

If we can maintain the levels we saw in the first 20 minutes or so on Tuesday for longer periods against Wrexham there's not a Goddamn thing that 34 year old Kieffer Moore will be able to do about it, no matter who our centre halves are.
We need to worry more about playing to our strengths than adjusting things to accommodate the opposition. Keep Wrexham pinned back and they can lump the ball up to their isolated beanpole as much as they want. Cardiff tried it here once and we still tanked them.

Precisely what used to wind me up about Paul Clement in our last Prem season. He was forever bigging up our opposition and setting up the side to contain them instead of getting the best out of our players.
If you do that then you're halfway to losing the game.
Yes, respect the team you're playing. Yes, be aware of their likely tactical plan and key players, but don't ever let it stop you from doing what you do best. We're not a plucky lower league side facing a big team in a cup tie. We're top of the table and we're at home.

I tend to watch matches not with one eye bias. Millwall fans will claim that they were crap on the day and not see how well Wrexham played. The majority of Derby and Watford fans I've read saying similar about our games. That's par for the course with supporters of their own club. We know what we are going to get.
As one of my old managers say the first job is to complete then we can play.
So I'm in favour of some additional height, we will regret it if we don't and they get an advantage.
If we played Key, Lissah, Cabango and Tymon we would still have 3 good footballers at the back. Play the bloke from Sunderland and that's 4 good footballers.

Interesting post I’ve tried being objective , sensible even , and failed I tend now to get bored easily and am trying to max out every day I haven’t watched a full prem game thus far nor any game not involving the Swans I was offered hospitality for Everton and could have gone to Liverpool v Forest but it’s just not the same as overreacting over your own club

Pity there couldn't be a system where season ticket holders who can't attend that they could sell seat back to the club at a nominal price. Surely in this age of high tech something could be tried on these lines. There are regular empty seats around me owned by season ticket holders - particularly in evening matches. Sacrilege.

For home games you could just take a screenshot of your emailed ticket. Even the emailed ticket needs an App(PDF reader)to open the attached ticket. Plenty of ways to save a ticket to your phone.
The tech used down the stadium isn't as sophisticated as some concert venues where the tickets have an active element in them that a screenshot won't capture anybody encounter that in any of the away grounds? Tickets in the Cardiff Utilita often need to be saved to a "Wallet" Google or Apple.

One of the things that could be adjusted is our full backs defending so narrowly. Stop giving the freedom of the pitch to opposition wingers.

This has been traditionally my gripe with our FBs especially Key. He seems to stick closer to his Mann now but my opinion is still that he’s not good enough in this current side, as much as I want him to be.
