We are now ALL bastard races, all mixed, we all have DNA from thousands of years of immigration and invasions. Swinney going on about the majority of Scots would vote because of the pro independence MSPs is disingenuous to say the least. Not every SNP wants independence but it’s fair to say most if not all who voted for the other parties definitely don’t want it.
He’s also made the point in response to Burnham’s poor response in HoC in my opinion where he said he wouldn’t consider another referendum unless there is evidence that there is a majority wanting it. So Swinney forces the issue. Burnham coukd have and indeed should have shut the whole thing down dead but he didn’t. [Post edited 14 Sep 20:09]
