Personally I consider being regarded by some ancient and ludicrous bit of fiction such as the Quran, the Bible or the Torah as more a problem for the idiots who subscribe to them than for me, but coercing women into wearing a shroud, forcing a teenage daughter who has lived all her life in the UK to marry an elderly uncle back in the hills of Pakistan, killing an animal in an inhumane way as per Halal or Kosher slaughter, regarding infidel women as somehow "Loose" and "easy", teaching impressionable young men that martyrdom is "noble", holding mass "prayer events" in public places, being intolerant of other minorities and other religions, Teaching that Sharia law supersedes the law of the land are all reasons that I would give for a start. No these are not compatible with how we have learned to live in the UK and the only reason these primitive traits are not more widespread is that they are held in check (for now) by the laws that are meant to forbid them or limit their propagation. Why we have so many goody goodies who think the above is a great way to live in a Western society is a mystery. Perhaps the OP can explain. |  | | |

The left ignore all of this and sweep it under the carpet, keep their fingers crossed, close their eyes and hope everything will be alright while all the time this problem gets bigger and bigger.

The (for now) is very relevant, this situation won't last for long, even the latest by-election in Holborn was a competition between Labour and the Greens for the Muslim vote which is at 20% (and growing rapidly). They will bend over backwards to appease them and in so doing will speed them to power sooner than we think. | | | |
