as long as they get the best games for their armchair millions that will be all that matters.

Ho Hum, 4 weeks to the first round of May fixtures & still no decision. Given their target was a MINIMUM SIX weeks, it's just taking the pizz. Good job (for most of us) we have two home games, otherwise we'd be sat around waiting to book train tickets watching the prices go up & up

did get a reply stating they hadnt recieved the fixtures yet so not on the website.
it also reminded me that sky alone was not responsible,the football league,the two clubs and police all had to agree.

basically a fudge.

i thanked them for their reply and said when we get relegated i will be cancelling my sky sports package.and they didnt even offer a free month of chelsea tv

The May selection process started on Monday 25th March, and they usually have between 10-14 days to finalise, which means that they've 4 days remaining on that time frame to make their picks.

They usually finalise earlier, but obviously as they want to pick and choose, they'll wait to the last minute. It's incredibly frustrating for fans, particularly those who travel from abroad. There are a bunch of Swedish fans waiting on confirmation for the Arsenal match with the same problem of expensive flights and accommodation, and prices increasing the longer they wait.

I know Sky plough the money into football and want the best games for TV.

However not confirming time/dates for games 4 weeks away is ridiculous for the fans and the clubs.

They're probably hedging their bets on tonights game. I guess they have provisional selections sorted but may want to revise them to, for example, ditch Man City games if they lose tonight. Holding off until this week has also bought them more time to review the Champs League / Relegation picture.

Me, no, Sky/ESPN, who knows? Regardless, they were supposed to select with six weeks notice but have ignored that to let two more rounds of games pass to help them get the best pickings for May 4 & May 12 weekends. Good for armchair fans but to those that fill the grounds, tough shoite
