From what I understand the club is guaranteed £16million a year for the next four years after relegation. Do these payments stop if we subsequently get promoted back to the land of shyte within this timescale or does the club continue to get the payments?

Once you are promoted they stop I believe, which is strange as the club is owed them shirley?

I believe the remaining parachute payments, if promoted back in that time are added to the premier league solidarity payments made to the football league

Main chute .... £1500 to £2000
Reserve ..... £1500 to £2000
Atuomatic Deployment System (Incase you are unable to deploy the chute .... £1500 to £2000

Not really that strange as the idea is to try and smooth the difference between payments and receipts that result in the seasons following relegation. If you go back up that is no longer a problem.

No, the payments are to help with balancing the books, whilst you have some players on Prem. wages but only championship income. If you get promoted you are back on Prem income and therefore don't need the parachute payments.

Yeah but what if you have players on Prem wages with League 2 skills? Can we be subsidised for that.

Looks like Wolves either didn't buy any of those, or their Automatic Deployment System (ADS) was made by Amstrad

And the 16m payment in Year 1 will pay about 1/5 of the wage bill.
