Price is the same as 4 years and 2 months of what the owners have been paying to keep our heads above water. How long have they been doing this? 2, 3 years now?
Well I imagine if you are paid any where over 2-300,000 per week you are thought of as perfect or at least pretty damn near. Hence Harvey Vale and others on less than 20k per week should be given a bye. The others not.
I watched the Bayern Real Madrid match last night. Vinicius junior circa €600,000 pw. From 30 yards out, leans back, shot screams over the bar. Killian Mbappe circa €600,000 pw. Mighty shot from about 20 yards out, whoosh over the bar. Luis Diaz €300,000 pw, plus some loose change. 15 goals in 26 games for Bayern. Cuts in from the left to get the ball on his right foot, a quick swipe and kaboom the ball sails majestically over the bar. I think Harvey is only playing like an elite world class player.
Part of my 'kitchen radio' collection. This is the music that filled the house from the radio on top of the fridge that my Mom had tuned into her middle of the road station. My young pre-teen self would shake my head and roll my eyes as Mom would giggle at me. But you know what, I secretly liked a lot of the stuff I heard. Good days.
First song that popped into my head. You beat me to it. I have a bit of a love hate relationship with Mr. Jarreau, he put out some fantastic stuff but also plenty of bizarre crap, imo, that I wasn't that fond of.
Well I for one would be very happy to see Wrexham in the premier league. I think they deserve each other. They can then take Ryan Reynolds and his sidekick, whose name evades me, with their white teethed, blemish free perma tanned camera friendly faces spewing happy clappy American horse sheet commentary with them. We won't have to be subjected to that then for at least next season. They really deserve each other. Ewch y dreigiau!
Okay Friday morning, I'll get this started. 1971ish Friday night basketball games at my junior high, the school team were the ironmen, so this was played as those pasty skinny white guys bounded out on court. Oh what jolly memories.
Always been partial to minty chocolates, It had to be a peppermint pattie as a kid, I'm sure that they used to be size of a hockey puck back in the sixties. When I arrived in the UK I found Fry's peppermint creme, which became a favorite, along with after eights. Now when I buy chocolate it tends to be Cote d'or milk chocolates. When I last visited the states, and after eating British/European chocolates for so long, I had a Hershey's bar which was like eating a chocolate colored candle.
I've only been an avid football (QPR) follower since the 90's when my son and daughter showed an interest. So was just wondering, have substitutions normally been just for the last 15 to 20 mins? With the plethora of subs in a game now I would have thought subs at 60 to 65 mins would have a better impact, or am I talking out my Hershey highway? I think a sub at 70 to 75 mins doesn't really have much chance to make a difference, generally.
I've given up on score/er predictions as all my previous have been woefully embarrassing. I will say that I think we will play better than last Saturday and the winner will be decided on how well Oxford play and if MadBen can get a couple decent balls into the box. He's not suspended is he?
