With Watford and Norwich and potentially Bournemouth all returning to the PL after just one season, do their parachute payments trickle down the EFL?

As if they need it! That could potentially save some clubs in L1 & 2 shared out.

Agree. And they could do with the PR now, but would expect it to be the other 14, not the top 6, who prevent that.

What it does mean is that there will be 3 fewer clubs in the Championship next season better off than us. That’s not immaterial.

Not only that but Prem clubs don't always buy from the Champ. So, could be less money in lower leagues as well.

Could be an advantage when we want to buy a player or two.

Looking forward to the weakest Championship season ever because the teams coming down and up are all rubbish and all the good teams have already been promoted.

Alternatively, I'll be looking forward to the strongest Championship season ever because the teams coming down and up are all very good and there'll be loads of well funded teams pushing for promotion.

It'll be one or the other. Bound to be.
