I make you right, but for a team in 11th that's not so surprising. You need to be consistent across the season and some of our current best players aren't even permanent signings let alone present all season.
I do think there's a case for Seny on the basis that he played a lot of the season behind a very fallible defence which Begovic didn't have to. In some ways the occasional error by Dieng in the last few weeks when we've been playing well are maybe what keeps him out of the best XI for me.
I think if either Carroll or Johansen had played a whole season for us they'd be contenders. And I think Dickie should be pretty close if not in. | | | |

The only slight thing with this is they do the vote stupidly early (for the PFA one) in like January/February and at that point Brentford were unbeaten in 22 and looking like they were going to cruise it, Watford had binned one manager and not improved greatly under the new guy, and Norwich were yet to set off on their 11 match winning run. So you may actually find it skews a bit weird. Also completely eliminates whatever tiny chance there was of us getting anybody in it.
