I've got my 2Cs on at 22/1 on Betfair.
Sporting Index have also changed their spread since the weekend... bought at 68 we're now 67.5-69.5.
Outside of the three relegated sides + Bournemouth and possibly Cardiff I can't see any sides as strong as or stronger than us in this league.
If you go on our 2021 form, which is reasonable because we actually have a stronger squad now, we are a top 3 side. When you then take into account that that's based on several key players that are still improving, it's also a reasonable take that we could even improve on our 2021 form this season.
The last time I bet on us outright winning the league was in 2010, and I'm even more excited by this team than I was then.
The only thing that concerns me is Kakay and Dieng being gone for 6 weeks in the new year. [Post edited 5 Aug 2021 19:36]

I like a punt but look very much for value as I keep my bets to strickly small stakes, I have noted just how many feel this could be a good season..
I have put up in a few threads that I thought the handicap list was my route and it is being hit it seems, I took 18/ 1 with + 18 points a week ago on a single.
Could only get 14/1 on + 18 points for a treble I did yesterday., to give us a 14-18 point lead over the three relegated teams from the prem does seem a bit generous.

No way will we win the thing. Think we'll win more than we lose, around the same number as last year. But other teams will work us out and nullify Chair, Willock etc. Plenty of well equipped teams and canny managers out there - Ismael, Sheff U, Fulham, Rowett, O'Neill, Warnock & Boro, Reading, Swansea etc etc | | | |
