My lowest moment as a Rangers fan was losing to them at home in the Carling Cup or whatever it was then.
One of the first times we didn’t bother to open the whole ground so a sh-ty weird atmosphere and only about 3000 people there, p-ssing it down, deep in the dysfunctional Paladini era with no hope on the horizon, club was skint, a team of no hopers punting it up the channels and still losing to an equally sh-te Orient team many leagues away at home, I really started to give up at that point. I was heading to LR and ended up being so late I gave up and instead watched Sky Sports news in a pub in Hammersmith, on my own, with my shirt on.
