Would be interesting to know how much Rooney has been on over this whole saga. Am I right in saying that this administration is the longest in football history?

Thanks Ollie.

It was good to read an honest appraisal of DCFC, playing & Morris wise.

TBF to him he was calling out Morris in this column all the way through as well if you look back at what he wrote here previously. Not one of the "on strings" brigade. That's why we use him.

I hope that the club survive as most clubs are one bad owner away from this type of situation but would be interested to see how the city council could justify spending £80mil on buying the stadium from Morris in the current financial climate?

Maybe the council will buy it at its proper price of £20 million rather than Morris’ inflated price?

Yes, that would be hard to justify to the non footballing public in Derby.

Perhaps Morris will be handing it over to the council as a gift! After all, he has never had anything but the clubs best interests at heart!

I'm beginning to think that the cynic in me is wrong in believing that the administrators were working very hard to ensure that he returned as the club owner (probably by proxy), but I still wouldn't dismiss that entirely.
