Cheers Clive. Existential crisis ahoy!

As a football club all we can do I suppose is, er, aim to win football matches. So let's see where that takes us, and on the off chance that gets us promoted let's worry about the fall out then.

And yeah for all its faults I love the Championship, a proper competitive league compared to what's above us. But then I suppose you have to strive to move upwards don't you, otherwise what's the point?

Poll: How old is everyone on here?

Thanks Clive.

You very accurately summed up the current state of the Premier League in a couple of lines;

'where once a millionaire chairman was enough to transform Blackburn into champions, then a billionaire oligarch was able to do the same for Chelsea, now you really need to be owned by a Middle Eastern country to stand any chance at all'

Hopefully if we did get back into it, the owners would take the long term view this time and use the cash to build for the future rather than blow it as we did in the past.

"Hopefully"..........mmmmmmmmmm

My hope would be that as well and not feared banking of money to cover the previous cash they burned (their fault) and putting us up for sale a la Fatty & Dwarf

Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal
