| Extended highlights on the offish Preston 0 QPR 1 12:00 - Dec 18 with 1411 views | bosh67 | https://www.qpr.co.uk/videos/h This looks like the team that went to Watford earlier in the season. When you look at the shape of the defence it seems to look a bit more solid? I may be wrong. Dozzell, Tim, Dykes and Albert all moving the ball a lot quicker in this game. Let's hope we can take this energy and belief into the Cardiff game! | |

| Extended highlights on the offish Preston 0 QPR 1 on 13:44 - Dec 18 with 1313 views | stainrods_elbow | My feeling and respect for the team and club were at such a low ebb post-Beale/Burnley, but that game and those highlights really warmed the Xmas cockles. So it's falling out of love and falling in love and so it goes on - it's beyond cruel, really. Kudos to the frozen 450, who did all of us proud. I'd say 0-1 flattered Preston - 0-3 would have been a fairer reflection. Seny had one serious save to make, they had a volley wide, and that was about it. To my jaded eye, they looked lower half at best, while we looked credible top-6 challengers - Tim was a cut above, Albert did well in the 2nd half (after I thought he should be hooked), and we came forward quite excitingly all game while the whole defence were really resilient, with a stand out performance from The Shield. With Ilias to come back, Willock hopefully playing himself back, and Jojo finally ready to go again, things feel like they're looking up already. Critcheley's first interviews left me a bit underwhelemed, tbh, but he may well be just what we need - seasoned, sanguine, attacking but pragmatic, and more than a bit Northern. Bum that in your gob, Beale! Upwards! [Post edited 18 Dec 2022 14:40]

I wonder if your usual critics on here, will notice this post?😉 QPR affect me in exactly the same way as you have described; but we are, and always will be...joined at the hip🌲

Probably not - and mostly through a need to scapegoat/block/caricature complexity. It's laughable, really, the way people talk to you as if they 'know' you on a board like this, but very much a sign of our times of course. As I don't worry too much about what people think of me, and just try to differentiate my own sensibility in critical ways, I go on enjoying it all in my own way.
