If you listen to the manager’s post match interview (the press one, not the official one) I think you’ll hear someone who literally is waiting for the law of averages to come good. At this moment even he can’t see a win without some divine intervention.
If that doesn't happen it'll be as frosty as Valentines Day round Joe Westerman's house

Poll: Is time up for Ainsworth?

Cheers Clive.

I never thought that I'd have anything positive to say about the Stoke City match experience, even though I really enjoyed my only visit (2019), but that video was brilliant.

Only seven hours left before leaving home to witness tonight's enthralling encounter. To think that when they visited last season, we were looking forward to it & optimistic!

"Life on local newspapers could be a hard slog................" I almost spat my coffee out when I got to the end of this paragraph and the line "In that spirit, I bring you the news that Jake Clarke-Salter has injured his calf, and will be out for “some time”. "

Extra mature cheddar......a simple cheese for a simple man

Law of averages says that sooner or later, the opponents first shot on target will NOT go in but for the past 7 games it has!

This is like going to a Roulette wheel and seeing
Black, Black, Black, Black, Black, Black, Black and believing that the next will be red when, in reality and given our defence, we all know where that first shot is likely to go!

If it does, I will feel black but see red!

Law of averages my @rse
I got all excited reading this, thinking yes, it is time our luck changed, building up to what must surely be your prediction of a win at the end only to see you've gone with a 2-0 defeat.

at the Joe Westerman extracurricular rugby league reference.

Super League (Rugby League) season starts on Thursday, suppose Saints start as favourites to retain the league title and win the grand final. I reckon Powell will be out within two months if Warrington don't start well. He has taken a big risk in loaning out Riley Dean to Featherstone as that lad looks super league ready already. If Williams and Drinkwater don't gel, I suspect the Wires' fans will be making that point known to Powell.

London Broncos got a win in their second match, which is a huge improvement on last season when it took my team 10 games to register its first win. Mike Eccles is doing a good job there and if they can get the halves combination sorted, they could spring a few surprises this season. Nobody's stopping Featherstone in the championship, especially if Riley Dean remains there all season.

Moooooooove! Six again.

R's to win 2-1 tonight

I love the law of averages angle...it is the only way to predict a win!

I am the most optimistic Rangers fan, and always imagine the best...but I simply can't see us winning against a well organsied Tony Mowbray team.

We don't have enough fit CHs to play a back three and Laird needs dropping.  He is woeful defending at the moment. Sunderland surely will have seen both goals were his fault on Saturday and will target him. He simply can't be bothered to do the hard yards and as there is no consequence to him being lazy...that is what he does.

We sit in the Upper Loft P block so can see exactly what he did in the second half. It was amazing that it took him until the 85th minute to work out that he could just knock the ball past the Millwall full back and then beat him for pace.

Some of these loans learning on our time/season is killing us.

Dozzel is always lost in midfield but what other option is there?

We need 12/15 more points and start again next season.  we all need our heads examined for even going tonight.

I reckon you'd probably forgo the formalities of a rim job if you were in the alley behind Wetherspoons in Cas, but apparently not. A debate worthy of a new thread perhaps.
