Right now I feel like I'd rather QPR just sank into oblivion rather than crawl pathetically into the lower league undergrowth like a dying beast. . [Post edited 7 Mar 2023 9:33]

At which point, when he comes back, he won't be the same player and will drop some more. The golden rule is never to sell or lose your only main prem class striker (in our case Les) without a direct and proven replacement in the team, or you put your prem status at immediate risk.

Have to respectfully disagree re: Toney. Were he to receive a 6 month ban effective from April, he will only have 4 months to serve in the new season. Brentford would settle for that and will get by. Wissa is a good prospect, and knowing their success rate with strikers, they'll buy someone in the summer who'll hit the ground running. Someone like Gyokeres looks like a good fit for them. Toney then comes back to secure their premier league status for a fourth season. Agree with Les leaving us and our reliance on Gallen and Dichio. If my memory serves me correctly, Dichio had a pretty good scoring rate that season.
