Just read the German's have sacked the manager of the men's team.

However, the more interesting detail in the article: its the first time the Germans have ever sacked a manager since creating the role in 1926!

Impressive and might go some way toward explaining their consistency at the top of the game.

Latest disaster for then was losing 4-1 at home to Japan on Saturday. German football seems to be in a bit of a state at the moment. One side dominates whilst their nearest rival seems to be happy to be a nursery for Europe’s best talent and taking the profits. Yet crowds rival the English game, but the development of new talent isn’t happening.

English crowds do beat the Germans, it’s just spread over more divisions : )

You know the talent pool is running dry when their flagship club team is breaking records to sign an English striker.

Jurgen Klinsmann to go back and start another re-build? Funnily enough, didn't he come along just as they were about to host the World Cup and yet here they are again about to host a Euros.

Klinsmann close to getting das Boot in Korea. Surely a job for Felix Magath and his magic cheese.

Southgate could be the first in half a century to go of his own accord!
