Usyk vs Verhoeven fight 14:19 - May 24 with 1072 views

I'm a big Usyk fan but he dramatically underestimated how good Verhoeven was.

Verhoeven definitely deserves a rematch. A lot of controversy around the stoppage but he was taking quite a bit of punishment from Usyk at that moment. That said, Verhoeven was ahead on points at the time and there was only one second left in the 11th round. The toughest hardest punching boxer Usyk has faced for some time and he took the punches well. I doubt he will take Verhoeven as lightly next time.

Usyk looked (for him) sluggish and overweight . Verhoeven is an absolute beast though .
Just run out of steam slightly and Usyk made him pay .
I thought the stoppage was a little controversial but so was the time taken with the gum shield so levelled up a little bit .
I think if that find had gone the full 12 rounds , Usyk would have got the decision which potentially would have been even more controversial.

Didn’t get all crap at the end with bringing the German fighter in .
It really is a bit of a circus and another sport heading for WWE status.
