Walking Football 19:34 - Jul 10 with 1901 viewsonlyrinmoray

Just wondering if any other mature Rs have tried this. Ive been going once a week to our local community centre to play with 14 or so over 50s including two women. A good laugh, 3 minute games. no running. Warm ups and downs

Obviously I wear a Rangers top which was a good conversation starter, both pity and admiration Bowles Marsh etc. Scored a hat trick in 3 mins the other week... The magic is still there
Recommended for anyone who wants to keep fit but is not into gyms

There was a very good example of walking football here at Loftus Road all last season.

Never knowingly right.
Poll: How long before new signings become quivering wrecks of the players they were?

Would love to, but I am too young - a little discriminatory me thinks...

...apparently I have 6 years to go before they'll let me play!

Can we go out yet?
Poll: What would you take for Willock if a bid comes this month?

It's a good laugh but I happened to play it on the windiest day of the year so from a possible birdie I ended up with a 10 over par!!

Sounds like a good way to keep fit in later years.
