Half time yesterday 15:58 - Nov 29 with 1878 viewsterryb

For a change, I enjoyed the half time interviews yesterday with Phil & Gerry.

The most important news was that Phil Parkes is currently clear of cancer. He then went on to give praise to the late Mick Leach as being the most under valued member of the 75-76 squad.

I salute you Phil, Gerry & Mick.

I agree. Gerry was great too and obviously still has soft spot for the club. Good to see them back.

It was nice to be able to both hear and understand what was being said!

They were trying to get McLintock there yesterday. Problem is he has a very busy after dinner speaking diary with a lot of travelling and he's knackered basically - 75 years old now.

Givens, Masson and Webb they've had less luck with.

I don't understand why the club can't put a video feed up on the big screen when they do these half time interviews. Seeing the faces up close would make it far more powerful.

Or at least give out free binoculars.

I'll raise this with the media team at our next meeting.

I loved those interviews yesterday and whilst I think of it a fair few Leeds fans seemed to be clapping Parksies' good news.

Yes, I noticed the Leeds fans clapping Phil Parkes too. Nice touch. Reminds me of the ovation they gave Roy Wegerle's wonder goal against them in the 1990s.

Yeah, that was pretty decent of the Leeds fans.

Never knowingly right.
