I've just seen an article from the Newcastle Chronicle saying about how bad the ref was on Friday night.The worst bit for me was how Keith Hackett agrees that the ref shouldn't have been given the game as Newcastle at home deserved a premiership ref in charge.
1.Newcastle were away.
2.Why should the big clubs be given special treatment over the choice of refs?They would moan like f@ck if Man Utd got their choice of ref for a game.
3.Hackett was saying that the ref should've known what Shelvey was and just had a quiet word with him instead of a red card.Why should they have given special treatment instead of a red card?
5, I was at Ewood park back in the 90's when the whole away end sang "we hate Hackett you fat cnt".
