I think it's a bloody good idea as it gives the clubs who finish higher an advantage.

So a league promotion is settled by a one off cup game,or a couple of games.I know it is now but at least the higher placed team get a 2nd leg to prove they are the better team.
Maybe the way forward gives the higher placed team a goal or two head start,depending on how far they finished ahead of the team they're playing?
