I see that Sky News are reporting that 3 WetSpam fans have been arrested during yesterday’s match.....
1 for racist abuse and violence
1 for violence against a steward
1 for violence against a steward and throwing beer in the face of another.
All in the stadium we all, in this country who pay taxes, paid for.

Went to this with some Watford mates as I hadn’t been to the new ground. To say the West Ham fans to the left of the away end were a bit special is an understatement.
The ground isn’t as bad inside as I expected but I was about 15 rows back in the lower tier so about as good a seat as possible in the away end. Outside is awful. |  | | |

The seats are in a different postcode to the pitch. Awful stadium. As for the logistics of leaving the place, an absolute nightmare. | | | |

The away fans are separated on the way out now for quite a bit but means a looong walk to the station. We watched the rugby in the casino after so avoided the crush so I’d advise staying for a couple after if/when we play there. The one thing the place has going for it is the plethora of eateries though a chronic lack of actual pubs. Drank before in the ‘Class of 92’-owned “Cafe Football” which was actually quite good. | | | |
