The problem is a perennial one - even with parachute payments or none at all it really is difficult to be brilliant or crap over 46 games.
I think k=it was Mark Pugh or could have been Hugill who said on offy its about staying in every game and grinding out the points - now despite all the fancy talk about Warburton's style of play v others, that is something we have failed to do over any length of time the past 4/5 seasons. | | | |

Marc Pugh is also a proper bible basher so the big man upstairs will have to choose His fave on Saturday.
I don't what it is but I just can't go for Cardiff. It's all so set up for a classic NW campaign that I feel like it'll somehow fail, a Prem hangover, lack of underdog momentum... something.

Not looking past Cardiff personally. It's Warnock, they've kept all their best players (who were the standout Championship players of the last few years) and they've got money if needed.
Fulham might have all the riches in attack, but defences tend to win leagues and Cardiff adding Flint is perfect for them, nailed on top 2 IMO... |  |
