Quite a good package of highlights. We played some neat football. BOS's pace and drive caused nightmares. I would have to be honest and say that it looked like a nailed on penalty on Grant Hall by us before half time. Got away with that one.
Otherwise their disallowed goal was clearly offside if not slightly luckily but overall we looked quite good but certainly need more support for Dykes up front. |  |

... and although I thought Wallace was much improved (which was not too hard seeing how bad he was against Cov), it was still his man that was lost for the 'Boro goal. Whatever happened to simple goal side defending? That was pee-poor on reflection...
Agree that Dykes needs more support, but is that with a second striker or a different attacking midfielder? Who would miss out from Chair, Thomas and BOS? Warbs will not be changing formation any time soon... |  |

There were a number of games where he played Wells and Hugill together and others where he played one or the other. At the moment unless young Oteh has some kind of break through or Ramkilde shakes off his injury and Warbs actually rates him we don't have anyone to play up as a natural striker alongside Dykes.
Which leads to the question... what the hell do we do if Dykes gets a knock or a suspension? We can't expect BOS if he stays or Chair to become a number 9. | |
