Well it was 1975 and I was a freshed faced horny American boy beginning my first taste of freedom. So such matters weren't really picked up on my radar. But since Keflavik was an American run NATO base, put there to keep an eye on all those peskie Ruskie vessels coming from the Baltic into the north Atlantic, I somehow doubt it.
