Don't suppose many on here old enough to remember him - I can, just. Quite a ball player it seemed to me at the time.

Can’t remember him, but maybe one of an elite band of QPR Scottish Internationals. Was he the first maybe?

Answer would be no, we’ve had Scottish players since our inception. Can’t name any, but when I used to read our pre war history, there was many a mention of Scotsmen in the squad.

He was not an international player. Our first Scotland International was Don Masson
1977

I remember Bobby Cameron. He was around when I first became a supporter.
As for Scottish internationals, I remember Dougie Orr of QPR, who was a Scottish Amateur International. I think he may have scored a hat-trick for Scotland on one occasion. Anyone remember?

We had another Scot around about the time of Cameron - “Archie” Andrews. Don't think he was capped though.

Ooops, sorry, missed the word 'international', no idea about those from north of the border who pulled on a hooped shirt.

I"m old enough to remember both Andrews and Cameron, both important players for us at the time.
Archie Andrews was wee little player, but hard as nails, although not a dirty player.
I remember them both, very well .

I remember him too, Teams didn't change much in those days and many players spent a lot of years at one club.
