More importantly is that the Gils are playing the same defensive formation (3 x CB plus wing backs) as we are and thus any transition from Gillingham to QPR will be a lot easier for Connor.

I'd hope that this will mean a move from there to our regular CBs, especially if Dickie does move on, though I think that is unlikely.

Good to read this. I must admit, I've wondered if Masterson could make the grade in the Championship, but he keeps improving perhaps he can. If not, he'll at least have a career in division 1 like Max Ehmer (remember him?) who he plays alongside at Gillingham has done.

I still think Masterson can make the step up and be a big player for us. I am probably in the minority but I rate him highly.
