Anyone going?
Thinking of going for the week on my Todd as I am learning German via Duo Lingo and want to practice butchering the language to their faces instead of to my smartphone.

My brother and me are going to both games.We’ve booked for Zwickau for 3 days and then a couple of nights in Leipzig and possibly berlin for the weekend.
The German railways are doing a special deal on the trains for 9€ for a month,so we might be doing a bit of sightseeing too. |  | | |

Just a word of caution with those 9 Euro tickets. They don't include IC or ICE trains so you can only use the local trains. The journey between Berlin and Halle for the Saturday game goes from a 1 hour 9 minute direct train with ICE to about 3 hours with a couple of changes.
I'm not sure why the club chose that opposition for the Wednesday night game. Logistical nightmare, especially for those considering basing themselves in Berlin. 3 hours 30 with the faster trains or 5 hours with the 9 euro ticket. |  | | |

Zwickau is a bit awkward, Halle is fairly straight forward. ICE train is easy, but book in advance to save your euros. | | | |

I've read Anthony Beevor's 'Berlin The Downfall 1945'.
My book does include my trip to Colditz which you can visit from Leipzig if you have not much else to do.
