I'd speak with Critchley and ask him who he wants to get rid of and which positions and what type of players does he want. Then go to my recruitment team pass on the information and discuss potential options. have a look in the academy and see if anyone fits the bill and if not look to sign players required within the budget. Basically use the structure in place and trust the people you have brought in to get it right.

I think, or hope, that Les will have given NC the time he needs to assess the squad first before making recommendations and requests.
I know playing Shodipo and Nico have been unpopular, but would it have been right and proper for him to make decisions based off of other people’s perceptions? I think, or hope, that NC takes the view that now he’s here everyone has the chance to show him what they can do - a fair shake of the stick if you like, before he makes decisions that affect the livelihoods of these players.
Sucks for us, because we’ve seen it happen every time a new manager comes in - so, lot’s recently :), but I think it’s a pretty standard way of conducting yourself as a new manager coming in, I don’t judge him too harshly for that.
