Trying to find a QPR Fan from the past 14:10 - Mar 3 with 2654 viewsTheDiamond2009

I hope somebody can help. A guy I knew at university was a massive QPR fan. It was a long time ago, the memory fades, but I’m sure his name was Graham Beech, or maybe Graeme Beech. He’d be around 56 years old. Would anybody on the threads know him?

I wanted to know if he’s going to the game at Bloomfield Road later this month, and maybe I could catch up with him.

It’s a shame Neil Critchley isn’t still there, because both sets of fans could have abused him.

56 years old?

Sounds like the key demographic on here!

Probably the same at Blackpool, lots of battle-worn, grizzly old men, some still talking about 1953. I haven't been for a long, long time and I'm heading back home for a week, so I thought I'd head down with an old friend, just for old times sake. It'll be different from the old days - they have a proper stadium, with electricity and toilets, and a pitch that isn't just made of sand.

I tried to find him online but he doesn't seem to have a presence at all.

While we're at it, Mike Lovis, do you read this stuff?

What has happened to Graham from Clacton? The old boy who always watched us home and away until covid hit.He always walked with a stick, mainly because it stopped him falling over after the alcohol he drank.

Used to drink in the Springbok? He was definitely around season before last if we’re thinking of the same person.

I reckon he’d have been around 5’6”, maybe 5’7”. Brown hair, but then that was the late 1980s. He might be an accountant.

I suppose it is easier to find a QPR fan from the past than assuming that there will be the same number in the future.

QPR has always been a rollercoaster ride and, as sad and demoralising as it will be if (when) we go down I am from Shepherds Bush and I can remember the great games; those times when we would all chant 'we want 5' and then we'd score and we'd then shout "We want 6!!'. I remember the times that the chant of 'Easy, Easy' would be bellowed across West London. Rod -ney chanting so easily and justifiably replaced with Stan-Ley.

So yes, it is going to be tough, yes it is going to be a nail biting finish to this season, yes we may well go down but we still have a club!

Beware, those of you who are thinking of protesting outside ahead of Watford....having a club and being unhappy with the results is better than not having a club!!!

Rangers may be relegated but will be good again or Rangers will fold due to the Money Pit and crowd hounding out of those considered responsible.

I can take one of these on the chin ...but not the other!

If you are looking for any of his or his family's children, I think there have been at least 6 sons of a Beach on the pitch over the last 15 weeks
