Playing for a draw 07:55 - Apr 20 with 1549 viewsEastR

When you've won 2 games in 29, and one in ten on your watch. And you need a win because you're running out of 'cup finals'.
Play for time and a draw.
Genius.

Poll: Is time up for Ainsworth?

I know it amounts to the same thing, but I think it was more a case of them being just utterly sht-scared of losing again.
We are awful, though. I don’t think we strung two passes together in the second half. Just hopeful percentage punts and blind over the shoulder hooks into channels.
But Chair and the heroic Sam Field aside, that’s what we are - a League 1 squad with a League 1 manager.
Bit like Warnock never quite being able to hack it in the league above, actually.

Yep I noticed that last night. I couldn,t understand how Dieng was taking so long over the goal kicks when we needed to win the game, mystifying

What concerned me more, was that even in the added on time, we still had eleven players back defending corners, rather than leaving someone(s) upfield.

Obviously, Norwich recovered pocession easily when the ball was cleared!
