Always loved kebab Ab, ever since he was loaned out by Lee Radford to the London Broncos for the 2019 Super League season. Him, his wife and parents always spoke to the fans after the home games in the Ealing Trailfinders' bar. He was one of the main reasons why we managed to win 10 games that season. The two victories away in Perpignan were largely due to the brilliance of kebab Ab, and will live long in the memory. He mentioned that Radford wouldn't agree to him being loaned to Hull KR, who also wanted him for that season, hence why he was in London. I'm being biased, but his form has been at this level for a few seasons now, albeit interrupted by an injury that ended his season early in 2022. There's still a lot more to come from him. I just wish he devoted himself to being the best he can be physically, because he is physically imposing for a half, who has all the subtle handling and passing skills, along with an excellent kicking game. You look at the halves preferred to him by Hull and brought in at great expense, who have all failed: Reynolds, Gale, Connor. Not convinced with Clifford, and Trueman seems permanently injured. The other decent half: Sneyd, they also let go, who's now part of the most exciting halves combination in Super League at Salford. [Post edited 22 Apr 2023 9:23]
