What was your first pet.... on 19:38 - Jul 16 with 925 views | Mick_S | Guinea Pig - Sally. Terrible name for a pet. Gerbils. Randy beggars, too many to name. Mate came round for jelly and ice cream and dropped my favourite and killed it. A couple of pigeons. A Kestrel my dad saved and got fit. Vicious so and so. Fish tank. Crabs kept escaping and drying out on the carpet. Dead. Canadian Finch - beautiful bird that we adopted - dowdy as anything; sorted his cage out and he got his colour back and chirped all day. Gave him a crisp and killed him. Ruby the rabbit. Thick as f uck. Chewed through the wires on my reclining football chair so it was just a chair. Friendly as anything then forgot who we were and went into attack mode. Died of natural causes. Chocco the hamster. See the Canadian finch - crisps are not good for certain creatures. Dead. That was it for rubbish pets except for George the Finch from the above. Beautiful Lab called Ella and now nutty Ralph the Vizsla. A magnificent bonkers dog. Could not imagine being without him. | |

What was your first pet.... on 21:02 - Jul 16 with 850 views | numptydumpty | Goldfish actually My parents were at a fun fair. when you had to hook a duck off a revolving platform and the number underneath the duck they hooked, meant a plastic bag containing water and a baby goldfish was mine. Apparently I was six weeks old when Fred the Fish joined the family. He did not pass from these lands until I was away on holiday with family at the age of 15. My nan had stayed at our house whilst we were away and sadly Fred the Fish passed up to the goldfish tank in the sky whilst nan was caring for him !!! Traumatic memories !! 🤣 🤣 🤣 The trauma though was necessary as it prepared me for the torrent of tragedies that were to follow attending Loftus Road. Life's lessons !!!
