Our discipline record needs sorting out , another thing for Marti to work on.

I think a lot of it came from the sheer frustration of losing so many matches while playing a system that just wasn't working. With luck it'll rectify itself.

Agree, our discipline is pathetic. So far that's:
Colback - 2 suspensions (1 red, 5 yellows)
Field - 1 suspension (5 yellows)
Dunne - 1 suspension (1 red)
Dozzell - 1 suspension (1 red)

Now Chair misses next week (5 yellows). Smyth and Armstrong are also only one yellow away from suspension.

True but I suspect a lot of this stems from the style of football we previously played

20-30% possession means we were constantly chasing the ball, more opportunities for mistimed tackles etc… also, players more likely to get frustrated and make a cynical challenges

Agree to a certain extent, but a lot have been for stupid things , hopefully this can be reigned in and eliminated.

I have complete faith in Marti educating the team with his philosophy, which will be a somewhat toned down version of GA's "Gung Ho" version of how to play which must have had a bearing on the mindset of the players while on the pitch and can be seen on our poor disciplinary record.

I foresee a change in this aspect and many others...
