They should only do these at the end of the season once everyone has played 23 away games.We have 2 remaining away games which could involve over 5k QPR fans going,which would boost our average up a bit. Also the ko times affect a lot of away support for all teams.I can’t believe that Watford take more away fans than we do.

Taking 5000 to next 2 away games would boost our average by about 85 so we would be unlikely to move up more than one place in that table.
I don't think we'll take 5000, more like 4000 though.
The guy, a PNE fan, talks about "championship fatigue" for his club and mentions that they, Bristol City and QPR have spent 11yrs in the division and hence people are bored of going to same stadiums every season.
Our away support has definitely dwindled over past few years, you only have to compare how many we took to Cov this year, last year and year before to see that.

I agree that the figures don’t lie,but the figures aren’t complete until everyone has played 23 away games.And that extra 85 would take us above Millwall and Watford,although Millwall will probably take more to their last two away games.

Over the years of watching game highlights, it has been noticeable that our away support is, numbers wise, only fair. I can't help it, (drummed into me in the wild, poorly policed 70's), but I always take notice of the travelling support.

I always look for the away support when I’m forced to watch other teams on the tv because of my boys. Someone mentioned a while back that our travelling numbers dwindle north of Stoke, which is something I’ve noticed. Having said that, the numbers are decent considering we’re not glamorous shite; the young ones are coming through away from home and I feel the future is quite positive.
Just wondering how our travelling support compares to others as a percentage in respect to home attendances?
I have been obsessed with away supporters since I was a nipper. When watching TV footy I can't concentrate on the action until I've ascertained the size of the away following. Always hated Goodison Park cos it was virtually impossible to spot the away fans tucked out of sight in a corner under the gantry (though that probably did us a favour for our last game there... about 80 of us turned out. In mitigation, it was Sky's MNF a few days before Christmas though).
