Not going to comment on the Home Shirt, won't buy it...but the lilac one is fine. Similar to Austria Vienna (their colour is darker). My daughter plays for them, so I can use the QPR shirt when watching her games... |

First Vienna are an ok opponent, they are ambitious and aim for promotion, so should be a good test...and you know what? It is not the first time First Vienna and QPR play each other. Back in the winter 1933 the Austrian side toured England and on Jan. 30 they played QPR... and won 3-0! ( well I had no idea, read it somewhere).So the opportunity for revenge 93 years later...
Personally, I may take a break from my holidays just to see that game. It will be an eight hour trip getting to Vienna and back to the holiday destination (it is quicker flying in from London) but it would be too annoying for me to miss out. |

So Austria once more...normally I would be extremly happy, especially as it is pretty close to where I live...but I am away on holiday, so no chance to see the game(s) or even a training session.
As has been mentioned above Wr. Neustadt are playing in the 4th tier and have been quite average. Strange opponent but they do have a nice Stadium, last time I was there I watched Iron Maiden... Wr.Neustadt is only about 20 minutes by car from where I live...
No idea where QPR are staying, if it is Wr. Neustadt then Graz and of course Vienna are options to visit (direct trains), also my home town Eisenstadt a nice, small town worthy spending a few hours or a day there.
There is Open Air musical in Mörbisch from July 16th and Open Air opera in St. Margarethen from July 15th, if you are interested in such things. Both places are near Eisenstadt. You will miss the Lovely Days Festival though in Eisenstadt on the July 4th featuring Foreigner and Alice Cooper among others.
For those who travel have a great time, this is quite a famous area in Austria for producing top wines, so have a go.

Well, I just bought my ticket for the QPR vs. Bristol City game. Not expecting much of a spectacle as the games I watch usually finish 0-0. But I do look forward to it as it is great to be back and the excitement already begins on the tube on the way to White City...meaningless game it may be, but not to me. And on Chloe Kelly s recommandation I will be in the Stanley Bowles Stand this time as "it is a lot better there " she said....who am I to argue... |

Living in Austria, I usually get to at least one game per season, a trip that also covers a concert...it will be Bristol/The Damned this season. When I was-a lot-younger I came over for a whole month and travelled the country to see QPR play. Nowadays it is the Official Stream mainly... |

I can relate to that... hopefully I will be just as lucky in April when I will be in London. First it is QPR vs. Bristol City and in the evening The Damned at Wembley Arena. Hopefully I don't have to drown my sorrows... |

Great comedy, just what I love about british humor, still watch it from time to time...even got a "Don't mention the war " T-shirt. Fawlty Towers was actually dubbed into German,but that was horrible, not funny at all. German humor I suppose...

No, not another thread discussing the merits/non-merits of Nourry, Cifuentes or the QPR tea lady...it is about April 11th, 2026. When I found out that The Damned are playing Wembley Arena I thought that would be a good weekend for the annual London visit...and it got better! QPR are at home to Bristol City, so no excuse now. Not sure if I will find someone to join me on that trip but I will sort everything out for myself ASAP.

I may have been at that game too... l remember a game in Nottingham when we lost heavily and I got soaked. Certainly in the eighties. I was absolutly freezing. Was it an early season game, maybe August/September? |

A friend of mine was at the game, probably the only game he could get Tickets for as he is not QPR. He texted me that the game was ok but the Carlsberg is shit.Saito and Nardi were our best players he thought.
I was at the Sunderland game which was ok too and a draw, so watch out for the Derby game as another friend of mine will be there... |

One more experience, one more entry in a diary self penned...not my words but lyrics by my favorite singer. Not a QPR supporter I must add and I ignored the following "emotional suicide " line. Anyway this song came to my mind as I will be over for the Sunderland game. I found that quite fitting, especially when I had a look on sunday at where they are in the table. Still look forward to the game as I dont really like watching on the Stream. Being there and soaking up the whole match day experience is so much better, even more so when the result goes our way.
To side step our game a bit my wife, footballing daughter and me watched the ManCity Ladies when they played in Vienna. Chloe Kelly came over to us especially when she saw us waving a QPR shirt. We had a little chat and she asked if I support QPR from afar and when I said yes, she replied "for your sins ".
Finally, I have got a SPARE ticket as my mate who would have us from Wales had an eye operation and cant go now. So if there is interest and you dont mind sitting next to me get in touch..

Well, I am confused...l will be over in the UK at the end of October staying near Cardiff but we (wife, two kids, a mate and me)can make the Sunderland game, going to London from Cardiff on Saturday morning. Officially it is a 3pm k.o.at the moment, so this would give me time to check into the hotel at Heathrow (we are going back on sunday)and get to the game. But an earlier kick off would be awkward. When are such things moved? Month earlier or weeks or days or 5 minutes before ko? Pretty annoying as I should get the tickets in time too...oh and not forgetting the pre match drink, usually part of the match day... |
