That’s welcome news in my opinion; the Principality Stadium in Cardiff is a far superior stadium to Wembley and because of its city centre location has a far greater choice of pubs and bars, I hope we get to see Saints there as it’s just a short trip from my home in Cardiff!

Nick, I agree everything points to this game being a bubble game, no independent travel for Pompey fans as I cannot imagine how the police would be able to escort any fans arriving at Central Sration to the ground safely to the new away fans entrances. It will be interesting to see if this becomes the norm for the South Coast derbies.

The Ugly Inside Verdict On Southampton’s 2025/26 Shirt

My feelings are that we have wasted a glorious opportunity here and we should have gone with a shirt design that resembled as close as possible the Admiral red and white candy striped shirt of 76/77 that was iconic; what we have now with the plain white back really doesn’t do the original any justice and although I prefer casual to wearing a replica shirt I think this new edition could have been so much better, just my opinion.
