The thing I still don’t get is the police manage to cope with games like Rangers v Celtic, Liverpool v Everton, Liverpool v Man United and even the tasty London derbies with one really tasty one coming up in the Championship this season when West Ham face Millwall home and away. None of these games to my knowledge have measures in place similar to a full bubble where away fans can’t make their own way to the ground so why can’t Saints v Pompey and Cardiff v Swansea be the same? It all comes down to how the logistics of controlling both sets of fans can be implemented and it shouldn’t be impossible in 2026 to achieve that. COYS! |

If Tonda receives a lengthy ban it would not surprise me in the least to see Saints approach Eddie Howe, although I also think that when Thomas Tuchel leaves the England job Eddie Howe will be the favourite to replace him. Watch this space! COYS! |

I am pretty sure that the only full bubble matches now remaining in the EPL and EFL are Saints v Skates and Cardiff v Swansea, full bubble meaning that away fans are prohibited from making their own way to the match by train or cars and instead are transported on official coaches. What a way to ruin a local derby! This has to come to an end soon. |

I am one of those survivors of the 1976 heatwave and I will never forget that year, sweltering working in a dry cleaners in Brighton aged 19, pressing clothes on a steam press and also being able to see Saints win the FA Cup, what a year that was! Happy Days! |

Hythe is staunch Saints and the sight of loads of Saints fans coming over on the Hythe Ferry is something I will never forget, hope it comes back. |

Although I now live in Cardiff I am a Hythe boy, born and bred and it saddens me that we may never see the Hythe Ferry running again, many memories of travel in all weathers, great in the summer but not so great in winter! I hope it can be saved, fingers crossed. |
