I had a suspicion he might be battling something bad when they announced his decision to leave and only said he needed a break.
He does look a bit ragged right now but might just be a mixture of stress, dissapointement anger etc.
Hopefully he will recover when he heads back to Germany because I like him just wish he would stop moaning and attacking reporters doing their jobs |

2 issues with it from that angle . First and most important that collar is pretty ugly IMO and it looks like they forgot it completly
Its way too snug and looks tight even on pro athlethes in the prime of their lives how are the rest of us going to look in it .
I know its not like our jersey from the GA era when it looked like a tent but maybe something in between . |

I watch the Coventry one most weeks where Matt and Sophie predict the Championship matches and who is getting Promoted and more important who is going down .
They have a Coventry City Match day vlog and the one against Man Utd last Sunday is incredible ,from pure extacy to agony in a few seconds Fcuk VAR.
Matt has QPR surviving for weeks now and also backed SW to stay up months ago with Huddersfield and Plymouth or the Blues going down in his latest one . |

For some strange reason Armstrong seems to have slipped back in his performances and his decision making is beyond bizzare .In the last 2 apperances he has managed to turn clean breakaways into throws for the opposition with wild crosses that add up to him looking stupid .
Its pretty simple ,shoot ,pass or cross to someone on our team not wildly blaze the ball across the box and out of play.
There is no way Marti is trusting him Friday unless the game is safe IMO |

Did you say you are a coach or a Ref Brian because I still cannot figure out how Limerick were awarded 2 goals when Gillane was clearly in the square both times .
No excuse for Clare throwing it away of course but 2 goals would kill any team and they got 3 in a few minutes.
Their goalkeeper saved them while Clare's did not
Watched Kerry V Cork and saw something I never witnessed in my life watching GAA.
Kerry held the ball for almost 3 minutes passing around while Cork stayed in their half and never came out once to contest the posession so they basically ran out the clock . So Bizzare is that a regular thing now ? |

The 3rd looked like a clear penalty to me almost a carbon copy of the first .Young the wan*er was late both times and clipped his heels .The handball one is harder to call but if VAR looked at them and gave nothing then they have a serious beef IMO |

The Coventry keeper was talking smack to Fernandes also and got it all back (probably in spanish )when his pen hit the net
VAR has taken the unpredictable / joyful moments away and like a poster above said if it comes down to lines or toenails just scrap it
Another poster mentioned City would destroy Coventry but its more about the day out rather than the result at a final
Plus City look really knackered and have multiple injuries I suspect and on a 1 game situation anything could happen |

Begovic also managed to palm a superb corner away in a critical moment so all teams have scouted us and know his weakness fair play to him
His save was the game really IMO because if we went behind the chances of us winning were pretty slim
Everybody agrees Willock played well but got tired and became a huge liability so its hard to believe Marti did not take him off and put on Hodge
Our friend (the ref ) gave us nothing only an extra minute or to sweat it out letting that last attack continue but we hung on
Fcuk Sky they pulled the coverage right away to go to commercials I wanted to see the celebrations but will wait for the official videos or Boston |

I think we are on top and looking way more dangerous but have to grab that second goal to calm the nerves
Dykes got a gift and took it fair play but on that breakaway he showed his true colors ,loads of time just take it on and slide it home but not happening of course

Not sure what Willock brings to the table to keep his starting spot he is very slow and a bit greedy for this must win game.
Marti must love what he is seeing in training because Willock is not doing it on match day IMO.
Like everybody else are saying we have to score first then with the place alive and kicking we could pull it off |

Cole Palmer would have scored his penalty so would Haaland and KDB but they were both sitting on the bench and CP sitting on his sofa watching tv.
What are the odds in England on him scoring against City on Saturday I bet pretty high.

Not sure about Huddersfield but SW are playing at an elevated level and only for late goals against would have won 3 straight .I can see why Clive mentioned in his preview that Sunderland are looking at their manager if he has instilled that much belief in them
We had them beaten at their place but they found a way to get us and they won fairly easily at Loftus Road so anything is possible with them |

One of the biggest headscratchers from the last few weeks is what has Hodge done /not done to upset Marti .He did not perform that well in his 2 starts but has been very lively and creative in his sub apperances .I know he gave the ball away in dangerous places but none led directly to goals against us .He would be worth taking a chance on unless Marti goes straight veteran experience on Saturday |

I thought I was seeing things when Klopp was ripping him a new ass hole for something but he just turned away as per regulations I suppose .
Maybe this is his reward for being a so call referee for all those years a nice few paydays in the PL to finish it out
He did look a bit small and insignificent though with Klopp towering over him |

If anybody sees Paul Smyth today just tell him to watch Ollie Watkins game clinching goal for villa yesterday.
Clear through he just focused on the onrushing keeper and put the ball over him into the corner for a superb goal.
No concern for the tackle from behind ( straight red and PK everytime ) just stay calm and go high or low depending on where the keeper is .
I know he is a brilliant striker but its always the same basics just beat the keeper forget about the defender |

I cannot figure SW out but they picked up 5 points in a week and could easily have won all 3 so they are playing out of their skin to survive .
We have not played like that this week at all IMO so either we are complacent or just not good enough but either way its a huge worry |
